A video of Stray Kids at the airport with massive fans got viral in Korea. It is not because of handsome Stray Kids nor fans clinging sprawlingly to celebrities. It was because of a Stray Kids’ guard. Fans were a lot, but they weren’t blocking the path of their favorite celebrities or yelling out for the names. People picked a man as the reason. The guard was being polite and used soft and fluffy voice to the fans. He was not like a man who pushed the fan like a sack. He was just warning fans to “Please do not push~”, “Do not push there~”. It was uploaded on November 10th, so it was not related with BOY NEXT DOOR incident. However it got viral after BOY NEXT DOOR guard’s incident. BOYNEXTDOOR article, CLICK HERE
Reactions of Others
It started to be viral in X(former ‘Twitter) and it moved on to communities. In this article, we will check how people reacted to the soft and fluffy voice Stray Kids’ guard.
-It’s much better to talk mildly
-Yes, teacher
-Yes, yes! Teacher!
-It’s unfamiliar… a bodyguard who talks like that
-I’m sorry for everything..
-It’s mild. But it’s scary
-Wow, he’s so kind
-I feel fucking sorry even though I didn’t push anyone
“Yes,Yes Teacher” is a phrase that kindergarteners use a lot in Korea, when teachers tell them something to do. It is mostly used like, “Let’s be quiet!”, then children chant answers together, ‘Yes Yes Teacher!’.
So people think his actions are nice, and they think it works well even if he talks it mildly. By this, some of people are even praising JYP entertainment and Stray Kids, just because of a nice staff. It is now getting compared with BOY NEXT DOOR’s guard. It seems many idols need to be polite and mild to fans at airport after the incident.
