Stray Kids IFPI record shows their position!
Group Stray Kids has set a significant record in the International Association of Recording Industry (IFPI) ‘Global Artists Chart’ for 2023. Stray Kids IFPI ranking is significant.
Stray Kids ranked third in the “Global Artist Chart” in 2023, according to an announcement by the International Recording Industry Association on its official website and SNS channel on the 21st (local time). Those who entered the chart at No. 7 for the first time in 2022 reached the top 3 in a year and achieved their best performance.
The “Global Artist Chart” ranks based on annual physical album sales, digital sound source downloads, and streaming numbers across the world. Stray Kids IFPI rank is significant in 4th generation groups. They are the only K-pop fourth-generation group to rank in the top 10 on last year’s chart, and this year also achieved the highest ranking among K-pop fourth-generation groups and achieved fame.
Stray Kids continues to become global trend. It recently won the “2024 People’s Choice Awards” at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. At the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards,” which will take place on Apr. 1, the group has nominated for K-pop Artist of the Year and K-pop Song of the Year.
Following the wave, on July 12 and 14, the group will be on stage as the first K-pop boy group and headliner at the festival ‘I-Days’ at Snai Stadium in Milano, Italy and the global music festival British Summer Time Hyde Park in Hyde Park, London, England, respectively.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold its fourth official fan meeting “The School of Magic of Stray Kids” at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, for three days from March 29 to 31. It will also run a pop-up store with the same concept as the fan meeting from March 14 to 31.
