Stray Kids in Olympics!
“Stray Kids,” which became a representative K-pop group in name and reality by topping the Billboard main album chart “Billboards 200” for 5 consecutive times in the U.S., is also making headlines at the “2024 Paris Olympics.”
According to foreign media and social media on the 29th (local time), Mexican gymnast Alexa Moreno performed various movements with the background music of Stray Kids’ songs “S-Class,” “Maniac” and “LALALALA” in the preliminary round of women’s mechanical gymnastics at the “2024 Paris Olympics” the previous day.
The flipping, twisting, and rolling techniques of these three colorful songs were performed to the melody and rhythm.
Stray Kids’ songs contain a message to show the world a special me with confidence. Moreno’s three picks are representative examples. Her acting was full of moments to express herself with confidence to the dynamic songs of Stray Kids.
Earlier, Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast Boriana Kalain drew attention from the Stray Kids fandom “Stay” by using “S-CLASS” in the “Hoop event” at the World Championship.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids topped Billboard 200 on Aug. 3 with their ninth mini album “ATE,” which was released on Aug. 19. The title track of the song, “Chk Chk Boom,” debuted at No. 49 on Billboard’s main single chart “Hot 100” this week. It is the highest ranking on the chart itself.
