Stray Kids Japan Tour

Record-Breaking Performances in Tokyo and Osaka

Stray Kids successfully completed six performances in two Japanese cities as part of their new world tour.

As part of the new world tour “dominATE JAPAN,” Stray Kids held a solo concert at Tokyo Dome in Japan from Nov. 14 to 16 and 17, followed by Kyocera Dome Osaka from Dec. 5 and 7 to 8 and met with fans. The six performances in Tokyo and Osaka alone attracted a total of 315,000 spectators.

Overwhelming Popularity and Live Broadcasts

The Japanese tour, which was held for the first time in about a year since the “5-STAR Dome Tour 2023 (Five Star Dome Tour),” was followed by more applications than the capacity of the venue, and the 6th performance sold out on the day of the ticket reservation opening, realizing its overwhelming local popularity. More than 315,000 spectators were filled in the concert hall, and live broadcasts from many movie theaters and online platforms across the country recorded a total of 150,000 spectators.

StrayKids Tour Setlist and Special Performances

Stray Kids, which opened with “MOUNTAINS,” the mini album “ATE,” which is the fifth consecutive No. 1 song on the U.S. Billboard main chart “Billboards 200,” presented a medley of group representative songs such as “Singer,” “God’s Menu,” “Special,” and “MANIAC,” and a rich stage with “Chk Chk Boom,” “JJAM” and eight members’ solo stages.

In particular, at the Osaka concert, the stage of “Christmas Love,” a song from Japan’s second full-length album “GIANT” released on November 13 and a Christmas season song, was released for the first time, raising the heat of the site to the highest level. To the enthusiastic cheers of the fans, Bang Chan said, “I can’t thank you enough. I will definitely come back.”

Future Plans after StrayKids Tour

Following the momentum, Stray Kids will attend the “2024 Billboard Music Awards” in Los Angeles on the 12th (local time) as performers for the second consecutive year. Last year, they were nominated for Top Duo/Group, Top K-Pop Album, and Top Global K-Pop Artist for the first time in the K-pop 4th Generation Boy Group at the awards ceremony.

Stray Kids will release SKZHOP HIPTAPE (SKZHOP Hip Tape) “HOP (Hop (Hop)” and the title song “Walkin On Water” at 2 p.m. on December 13 (00 p.m. ET).
