Stray Kids has achieved a historic milestone, surpassing 30 million cumulative album shipments in Korea and Japan as of December 31, 2024. This remarkable feat solidifies their position as one of the most influential K-pop groups globally.

Record-Breaking Album Sales

According to JYP Entertainment, Stray Kids has released a total of 25 albums in Korea and Japan since their pre-debut in January 2018 with Mixtape. These include:

• 17 Korean albums: 27.72 million units shipped (based on Circle Chart)
• 8 Japanese albums: 3.45 million units shipped

Their most recent releases, including the December 2024 album 合 (HOP) and the June 2023 full-length album ★★★★★ (5-STAR), contributed significantly to this achievement. Notably, 5-STAR set a K-pop record with over 5 million cumulative sales just two months after its release, making Stray Kids the first JYP Entertainment artist to achieve “Penta Million Seller” status.

Global Chart Domination

Stray Kids’ global popularity is further evidenced by their consistent success on U.S. Billboard charts. Since debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in March 2022 with ODDINARY, they have achieved six consecutive No. 1 entries on the chart, including MAXIDENT (2022), 5-STAR and 樂-STAR (2023), and ATE and HOP (2024). Their dominance extends to physical album sales, with ATE and HOP both ranking in the top 10 of Luminate’s “U.S. Top CD Album Sales” for 2024.

Upcoming Activities including Stray Kids Tour

Stray Kids shows no signs of slowing down in 2025. The group recently resumed their world tour with performances in Hong Kong on January 18-19 and will embark on a massive stadium tour across Latin America, North America, and Europe starting in March. Before that, they will hold their fifth official fan meeting, “SKZ 5’CLOCK,” from February 14-16 at Incheon’s Inspire Arena.
