StrayKids Seungmin Donates ₩100 Million on His Birthday, Continuing His Acts of Kindness
Stray Kids member Seungmin has made a meaningful donation of ₩100 million (approximately $74,000 USD) to mark his birthday on September 22.
The donation was made to ChildFund Korea (Green Umbrella), a leading child welfare organization, and will go toward supporting children in family caregiving situations—youth who must take on adult responsibilities at an early age to care for their families.
Through his agency, Seungmin shared:
“I hope children who are forced to carry burdens like adults at such a young age can find moments of relief.
I wish my support could help lighten their shoulders, even just a little, and give them the strength to dream of a brighter future.”
This is not the first time Seungmin has extended his goodwill through donations.
Last year, he also donated ₩100 million on his birthday to support youth aging out of the child welfare system.
In April 2025, Seungmin and fellow Stray Kids members jointly donated ₩800 million to two organizations—Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision Korea—to aid victims of wildfires in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
As a group, Stray Kids is set to hold a major stadium concert at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on October 18 and 19, titled
“Stray Kids World Tour 〈 dominATE : celebrATE 〉.”
The concert will mark the final stop of their 54-show tour across 34 cities worldwide and will be their first-ever stadium show in Korea, commemorating seven years since their debut.
