SVT Album Sales of Spill The Feels! New Record

Group SEVENTEEN achieved a double million seller upon its comeback.

According to Hanteo Chart on the 15th, Seventeen’s 12th mini-album “Spill the Feels” sold 2,494,180 copies on the day of its release, directly topping the daily record chart.

Seventeen also recorded a double million seller in a day with its 12th mini-album, following its best album “SEVENTEEN Is Right Here,” which was released on April 29. Among the K-pop albums released this year (2024), Seventeen is the only artist who sold more than 2 million copies on the first day. Their powerful influence, called “music powerhouse,” stands out.

Global popularity is also hot. Immediately after its release, SEVENTEEN Spill The Feels topped iTunes’ “Top Album” chart in 18 countries and regions including Macau, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Turkey. Thanks to the album, the album ranked second.

The title song “Love, Money, Fame” also gave the green light. The song topped the real-time charts on Bugs and topped major music charts such as Melon’s “Top 100” and Genie. Songs from the album “Eyes on You,” “1 TO 13,” “Candy,” “Rain,” and “Water” also made it to the charts.

SEVENTEEN’s 12th mini-album “Spill the Feels” delivers the message, “Let’s trust the other person and share our emotions to resolve our worries.” The album title, which is an anagram of the sentence “I FELT HELPLESS,” contains Seventeen’s support and comfort for those who have been depressed because they cannot tell the inside.

“Love, Money, Fame” is a song with a groovy melody unique to the R&B and hip-hop genres. The lyrics, “All I want is your love,” embody the message of the album and show Seventeen’s sincerity toward CARATs (fandom name).

Seventeen will meet its fans on the 17th through music broadcasts including Mnet’s “M Countdown” and the world tour “SEVENTEEN [Right Here] World Tour.” The tour, which opened with 58,000 spectators at the main stadium of Goyang Stadium from the 12th to the 13th, will later lead to major cities in the United States, Japan and Asia.
