SVT BSS fans are claiming absurdity
At Hanyang University’s Erica Campus Festival, some visitors are complaining one after another.
Hanyang University’s Erika Campus has been holding a three-day spring festival “Espero” since last Friday. Today, the 29th, the performances will be held in the order of CRAVITY at 17:00, Choi Yena at 20:00, NELL at 20:30, and SVT BSS at 21:30. The university opened the festival to the general public and sold tickets at 10,000 won. The festival will be divided into “students zone” and “external zone.”
The university opened the barricade at 2 a.m. due to the presence of all the popular stars. Fans of the singers lined up to enter the concert from early in the morning.
SVT BSS fans are banned from restroom?
“I’m in line for Erica, but we are banned from visiting bathroom after 7:30 a.m. The student council member said that the moment we leave the line, we will be kicked out,” a fan of SVT BSS said on X (formerly Twitter) at around 7 a.m. on the day. SVT BSS will perform at 9pm but from 7:30 am they are unable to go restroom.
The university is estimated to be banning the use of toilets after 7:30 in order to prevent visitors from cutting in line. University explained the reason, they said “Anyone can visit restroom however they have to stand at the end of the line,” they asked for understanding that they can not manage all crowds by letting everyone without cutting line.
Some staffs even said that the university is lining up in this way due to artists’ requests. Through Weverse, SVT BSS member Hoshi sent messages showing that it wasn’t their request. He sent messages such as, “fans need water,” “or needs to visit restroom.” It seems that they heard that fans waiting for SVT BSS at the Erika festival are being treated unreasonably.
Complaints continued even after the entrance began around 1 p.m. Fans criticized, that the university made them to throw away all the items, like nightsticks because it was all banned.
However, the university informed in advance, “We will inspect our belongings before ticketing for the safety of the concert hall.” The prohibited items that the university informed in advance include food, slogans, light sticks, liver chairs, filming devices, selfie sticks, and dangerous goods.
Also, the school said that bringing in items deemed dangerous by the organizers will also be prohibited. It is not possible to store prohibited items. So it might be chaos to find their own items after the show.
