Taemin’s agency, Big Planet Made, has announced its intention to take legal action against false rumors circulating online regarding Taemin’s involvement in SHINee’s activities. On January 15, the agency released a statement via Taemin’s official social media, addressing concerns raised by posts on certain online communities and social media platforms.

Big Planet Made stated, “We are aware of the concerns expressed due to posts about Taemin’s SHINee activities on some online communities and social media. However, all recent posts contain clear falsehoods. We plan to respond strongly to these false claims.” The agency emphasized its support for Taemin’s activities as a member of SHINee, adding, “We will spare no effort to ensure that Taemin receives fair treatment and continues his activities as both a solo artist and a member of SHINee.”

The controversy arose after Taemin did not attend SM Entertainment’s 30th-anniversary concert, “SMTOWN LIVE 2025,” held on January 11-12 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. Speculation emerged blaming Taemin’s current agency for his absence, though no similar criticism was directed toward Onew.
