Taemin, a member of the group SHINee, expressed his feelings about leaving SM Entertainment after 16 years.

“Sooner or later, I think I will make a new start. Actually, I’m still cautious about bringing this up due to the timing. However, I didn’t think it was polite to just sit still without saying anything to those who care for and love me,” he said, explaining why he is talking about leaving SM.
Taemin, who has been thinking about many things since last year, said, “I decided to leave the company and talked about it with the members,” adding, “Thank you to many people who have helped me so far, and thank you for believing in my choice and supporting me.”
In particular, Taemin said, “I’ve been and will be Lee Taemin anytime, anywhere. We didn’t see each other for a day or two,” adding, “I believe there will be more good things, and I’ll make it so.”
Earlier, it was reported that Taemin will leave SM Entertainment, which he has been with for 16 years, and start anew in a new place. In this regard, SM Entertainment said, “SHINee’s activities will continue at SM as always, and individual contracts will be decided in the direction each member wants.””Minho and Key are positively discussing individual activities as well as the group with us, and Onew is looking for several directions. The exclusive contract with Taemin ends at the end of March, and we are still considering his future after the end of Taemin’s termination in various ways,” he added.
