Taemin Exclusive Contract termination
Taemin of the group SHINee will end his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment.
As a result of one Korean news outlet, News 1’s coverage on the 5th, Taemin exclusive contract with his current agency, SM entertainment, will not have extension but termination at the end of this month.
Taemin, who debuted as the group SHINee in 2008, has been accompanied by SM Entertainment for 16 years, signing several contracts. He has always extend his contract with SM entertinment without any struggles.
Taemin, who will become an FA at the end of this month, plans to continue his career as a singer in a new nest. However, he is expected to continue his activities as a whole group with SM Entertainment, and wants to act as the member of SHINee. So it seems SHINee World, the fandom of SHINee does not need to worry about the group activities.
Taemin debuted as SHINee in 2008 and left behind hit songs such as “You Are So Pretty,” “You Are Like Oxygen,” “Amigo,” “Juliette,” “Ring Ding Dong,” “Lucifer,” “Sherlock,” and “Dream Girl.” Since then, he has debuted as a solo artist in 2014, showing off fatal charms such as “Move,” “Want,” “Guilty.”
