AMPERSANDONE DEBUT SHOWCASE D-DAY
AMPERS&ONE (AMPERSANDONE), the new boy group launched by FNC entertainment, had debut showcase today (Wednesday). The group is the first boy group after P1Harmony. While acknowledging that there was a burden, they are confident about the team.
The Meanings
The title song ‘On And On‘ is a pop dance song with a groovy bass riff and an attractive synth sound. The group expressed its ambition to continue moving forward without giving up their dream even if they sometimes fails.
The team name AMPERSANDONE is a combination of ampersand, the symbol “&” representing “and” and “ONE,” which means you, me, and us all are one. It means that the group will come together and achieve our dreams and become one.
The Words of Members
Mackiah and Kim Seung Mo talked about the names. Mackiah said, “It was amazing that the name had a symbol in it. I was curious about the meaning, and it had good meaning. Additionally, sense of belonging that our name was created.” Kim Seung Mo said, “I was happy because the name was not common and the meaning was good.”
Kyrell talked about the group seniors. “There were a lot of great seniors, so it was a burden,” “Thanks to them, we could debut on a great stage. We will work hard in the future, so we look forward for your kind attention.”
Na Kamden, Brian and Choi Ji Ho talked about their previous participation in the TV program, ‘BOYS PLANET’.
Brian said, “After Boys Planet, now I want to become better. Please look forward to AMPERSANDONE’s future,” he said. Na Kamden said, “I practiced and prepared for my debut while meeting the fans in person. To be honest, I didn’t know I would go to the final, but all the experiences I had at that time were amazing and valuable. “Thanks to Boys Planet, because of it I desire my debut more and I worked harder.”
Choi Ji Ho said, “After Boys Planet, I had a lot of worries about my career path. I was happy to join the team which was a good opportunity. As much as I got a good opportunity, I will work hard and show you a good performance,” he said.
The group announced they will be active a lot to see the fans more.
