Tempest tops iTunes!
The group Tempest has a good start upon its comeback. Tempest tops iTunes charts.
According to global music streaming platform iTunes on the 14th, Tempest’s fifth mini-album “Tempest Voyage” topped all genres and pop charts in Vietnam, as well as topped the K-pop and music charts.
It also ranked No. 1 on the Turkiye K-pop chart and No. 4 on the U.S. K-pop chart, and on the domestic music site Bugs, it topped the entire genre album daily chart for three consecutive days, proving global fans’ keen interest in Tempest.
The title song, “LIGHTHOUSE,” also ranked No. 1 on iTunes’ Vietnamese K-pop chart and No. 5 on pop charts, and No. 3 on New Zealand’s K-pop chart. In addition, the track “There” topped the R&B/Soul chart in Vietnam, and “B.O.K.” was successful, ranking No. 2 on New Zealand’s K-pop chart.
Tempest Voyage, a new album released by Tempest after six months on the 11th, is an album that marks the end of the ‘Storm’ series and contains Tempest’s today, which begins its voyage to the wider world. Tempest explains why we chose to sail this voyage in this album, revealing its incomplete and confusing inner side as it is as if sailing in the open sea.
Tempest began its activities with the first release of the “Right House” stage on Mnet’s “M Countdown,” which aired on the 14th. Tempest, which had a successful comeback ceremony with its unique performance and further advanced skills, will continue to appear in various music shows to show Tempest’s more mature “storm” voyage.
