RICKY with black dyed hair color?
ZEROBASEONE Ricky has always had bleached yellow hair since his first public appearance. If people get asked about Ricky hair color, they would answer it is blonde, or bleached. Even in his appearance in ‘BOYS PLANET’, the audition program he was participated in, he was having blonde hair. Even in the 5 month long journey, his hair color wasn’t changed.
After debut, it was same. When members asked him about changing Ricky hair color, he wasn’t sure. He said he would like to change his hair color to black, but not ready right now. His most change hair was during the active of ZEROBASEONE second single ‘Crush’. He sprayed under half of his hair with grayish spray. By respecting his opinion, and as the bleached hair matches him so well, so fans were just imagining of black haired Ricky.

However, when ZEROBASEONE Ricky was leaving for Shanghai on November 30th, he was caught with black hair. It was a just a day after his attendance of ZEROBASEONE attended the 2023 MAMA Awards, on November 28 and 29.Ricky was still spotted with his iconic blonde locks at MAMA, but at the airport he was with the black hair. It would be consider as the most dramatic change of his image.
Why?
Ricky’s fans predict that the fact that Ricky is going to Shanghai itself will be related to his ID. In China, hair bleaching or dyeing is prohibited when notarizing the relevant notarization, so the people must arrive at the site with black hair.
