Wakeone’s announcement on TO1 Disband
Hello, this is Wake One.
First of all, thank you very much to TOgether who love and support TO1.
We, and members of TO1, such as Dong Geon, Chan, Jisu, Jae Yun, J.You, Kyung Ho, Daigo, and Yeo Jeong, have agreed to terminate their exclusive contract with us as of December 31, 2023. We decided after a long period of in-depth discussion and consideration. We would like to express our apologies and gratitude to TOgether for loving and caring for TO1. Please keep an eye on the members who will be taking a new path, after TO1. Please show your support and interest. We will sincerely support the future of TO1 members as well.

So every member of TO1 is leaving the agency, who has the trademark right. The agency wrote that they will not work as the ‘TO1’.
Proper care from Agency?
As the group has announced TO1 disband, people are talking about the care that the group had. The group’s fandom TOgether always complained about how the group was treated. They say the group was mistreated by the agency. First of all, the group had to change its name to TO1 from TOO. After the group changed its name to TO1, they released 4 mini albums in 2 years and 6 months. The last album, 4th mini album was released last year November. November 23rd, 2022. For an idol it is a huge hiatus.
Not just that, but a member Renta joined the team right before this album and withdrawn from the team after this album. So fans were questioning even if the group had a vision or not. By these questions on the proper care fans are having ambivalence. They hate that they can’t see the combination of members, but are happy that they are free from the agency. Some fans are hoping that members can just move to different agency in this combination and re-debut.
