TRIPLES FAN Throwing Accident
The group TripleS member was injured by a fan throwing a fan at a fan concert.
Triple S held a fan concert “Girls Never Stop” at the Samsung Hall of Ewha Womans University in Seoul on the 6th and 7th. It also drew attention by staging the stage with “24 members as a union.”
However, during the last encore stage of the concert, a fan thrown by someone believed to be a fan flew onto the stage. Some of the members who were greeting the fans were surprised and avoided the fan, but one member who could not avoid it covered her face and showed discomfort after the fan flew in.
As the controversy grew, an apology written by a person who said he was the one who threw a fan was posted on X on the 7th.
The TRIPLES fan throwing incident person apologized, saying, “I’m sorry. I threw it even though I knew I wasn’t supposed to throw it, and the members almost got hurt.” “Everyone threw their slogans and I wanted to do it, too, so I threw it in anger. I had no intention of matching it with the members. I posted an apology on the members’ prom out of guilt,” he said. “I’m so sorry to the members.”
In addition to the TripleS fan incident, it was often found that fans were embarrassed or injured by objects thrown on stage.
Throwing things on the stage at the concert hall is prohibited, but accidents are mainly caused by some excited audiences at the end of the concert or when artists approach the protruding stage to communicate with fans. As a result, criticism and alarm are rising among fans.
