TWICE NAYEON BILLBOARD QUEEN!
TWICE Nayeon performed well on the latest charts, including the 7th place on the main U.S. Billboard chart “Billboards 200” and the 9th place on the “Artist 100.”
According to Billboard’s official announcement on its official website on the 25th (local time), Nayeon ranked in a total of 13 categories on the latest chart on June 29 with her second mini album “NA” and title song “ABCD” released on June 14.
While ranking 7th on Billboard’s main chart “Billboards 200” and 9th on “Artist 100,” Nayeon is the only K-pop female solo artist who has made two consecutive top 10 works following her first mini album “IM NAYEON” in July 2022 and achieved such achievements. It also made significant records on various charts, including “Top Album Sales,” “Top Current Album Sales,” “World Album” No. 1 and “World Digital Song Sales,” “Billboards Global 200” (the chart that excludes the U.S.) and “Vinyl Album.”
In particular, the new album “NA” was recorded as the best-selling album in the United States for a week, with a total of 47,000 SEA units (based on laminates), which is 43,000 records sold and 4,000 streams converted into record sales.
In February this year, the group TWICE, which Nayeon belongs to, topped the Billboard 200 with their mini album “With You-th,” and this time, Nayeon made remarkable achievements as a solo singer, proving again the popularity and influence of the “global normal girl group” in name and reality.
Twice, who has continued to grow solidly as a group and as a solo artist, will continue its momentum with its fifth world tour, “TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR “READY TO BE” (“Ready to Be”). It will hold a solo performance at Yanma Stadium Nagai in Osaka from July 13th to 14th and Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo from July 20th to 21st, and will enter Kanagawa Nissan Stadium for the first time in the history of overseas female artists from July 27th to 28th.
