Pocketdol Studio suggests Yu Junwon rejoin
“If Yu Junwon himself officially expresses his apology and actively engages in activities, we are willing to accept him as a member of the Fantasy Boys again.”
Lawyer Lee Yoonsang, legal representative of Funky Studio, the producer of MBC’s program “Fantasy Boys”,said they will let Yu Junwon, a member who left Fantasy Boys, to return if he wants. Lawyer Lee made the remarks in an interview with ILGAN Sports on the 27th. Earlier on the 24th, the 21st Civil Affairs Department of the Seoul Western District Court rejected an application for injunction to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract filed by Yu Junwon against Funky Studio. As a result, Yoo Jun-won will pay all the costs of the lawsuit and the costs of the opposite’s lawyer.
About the result, Yu Junwon and Funky Studio had an opposite understanding. Yu Junwon thought the judgement meant there is no exclusive contract at all. However, Funky Studio says he did not agree only on the subsidiary contract, but that the exclusive contract for management work was maintained.

Lawyer Lee said “Yu Ju-won argued that there was no exclusive contract itself. But, the court ruled that there is an exclusive contract.” Currently, Funky Studio is preparing a lawsuit for damages of KRW 3 billion filed against Yu Junwon. Funky Studio submitted a complaint, and Yu Junwon appointed a lawyer to submit a response. Although the date of the pleading has not yet been set, a full-fledged lawsuit is scheduled to take place early next year.
Lawyer Lee emphasized once again that Yu Junwon is currently in a situation where an exclusive contract has been signed. “As the lawsuit dismissed, the effect of the contract has not been suspended. It will be difficult for Yu Junwon to work at other agency,” he said.
So what we can refer is, the agency is willing to give Yu Junwon one more chance. Will Yu Junwon rejoin the team? Or try once again to be free from the agency?
