YG Confirms Rami’s Absence: BABYMONSTER to Promote ‘HOT SAUCE’ as 6-Member Group
Rami Absent, BABYMONSTER to Promote as 6-Member Group with Pre-Release Single “HOT SAUCE”
BABYMONSTER has officially launched their comeback with the release of the title poster for their pre-release single “HOT SAUCE,” scheduled for release on July 1 at 6 p.m. KST.
On June 23, YG Entertainment shared the poster via its official blog, featuring the phrase “I’m like ‘HOT SAUCE’.” The image showcased the members’ vibrant visuals alongside a colorful LED-style logo.
With playful expressions and retro-inspired styling using bold primary colors, the group channeled an old-school 1980s hip-hop vibe with a modern twist.
Rami to Sit Out Promotions Due to Health Concerns
The group’s upcoming promotions will proceed without member Rami. YG stated, “Rami still needs sufficient time to recover. As this decision prioritizes the artist’s health, we ask for your understanding. We will continue to support both Rami’s recovery and BABYMONSTER’s activities.”
Summer Comeback Followed by Busy Release Schedule
“HOT SAUCE” was previously described by Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk as a highly addictive late-80s-style hip-hop track, prepared as a gift for fans to enjoy this summer.
BABYMONSTER is also set to release a second single in September, followed by a mini album in October, signaling an active promotional schedule for the rest of the year.
