ZB1 Visits Seoul Girls’ High School for ‘School Attack’ Event
On February 10, 2025, ZeroBaseOne visited a girls’ high school in Seoul for a special event called “School Attack.” During the event, they performed three songs, including “Doctor Doctor” and “Good So Bad,” and distributed signed albums to the students.
However, a comment made by member Kim Gyuvin during the event has sparked controversy among fans.
ZEROBASEONE member Kim Gyuvin said, “The cheers are louder than concert cheers,” while he was having moment with high school students. The video that recorded him saying that hit over 880,000 views just in 3 hours.

- @r0se_binn I think Kim Kyu-vin was trying to say that the response was great. However, the choice of words was problematic, and it’s understandable that it caused controversy. But knowing Kyu-bin’s personality, he didn’t mean it in a bad way. Hanbin and Gunwook were holding the mic, so they had to say something, and Gunwook was just chiming in.

During the event, they came down to where the students were sitting and provided all sorts of fan service. They even gave out signed albums for free, while fans spend millions of won on fan meetings… And what’s with saying “The cheers are louder than at a concert”? What does that make us who cheered at the concert?
As the fans got mad against ZB1 Kim Gyuvin’s words, he apologized through his BUBBLE on the same day.

“I am truly sorry for causing disappointment today. I thought that some of the people who came today might not know us well, but you welcomed us so warmly that I became even more nervous. Unintentionally, I ended up comparing it to a concert, which was something I should never have done. I was thoughtless, and I am really sorry.
The Zerozes are incomparable and truly precious to me. I felt this even more deeply through this incident, and I promise not to repeat such mistakes.
I am sorry for causing any hurt.”
