Zhang Hao Wins Global Netizen OST Award Before ZEROBASEONE’s Comeback
A Meaningful Solo Milestone for Zhang Hao
ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao received the OST category award at the 7th Newsis Hallyu Expo (2025 K-Expo) held on August 28 at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul. He won with his first solo OST, “I WANNA KNOW”, the theme for Transit Love 3, marking a heartwarming prelude to the group’s September comeback.
“I never imagined I’d receive so much love for my first OST,” Zhang Hao said. “Having grown up inspired by Hallyu, I’m proud to be active in Korea and thankful to receive such a meaningful award. I’ll work harder to become a global artist fans can be proud of.”
“I WANNA KNOW” delivers a sweet, emotional narrative of wanting to know everything about someone special. The mid-tempo track’s acoustic guitar and piano blend beautifully with Zhang Hao’s signature warm tone.
Chart Success and Growing Global Recognition
The OST previously hit #1 on Circle Chart’s Download Chart and entered the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart at #9, signaling balanced popularity both domestically and overseas.
Zhang Hao’s win comes ahead of ZEROBASEONE’s first full-length album NEVER SAY NEVER, set for release on September 1. The album carries the group’s bold message that “nothing is impossible”, reinforcing their identity as K-pop’s new icons with five consecutive million-seller records and multiple Billboard 200 entries.
