What’s happening? ZEROBASEONE and 8TURN?
8TURN has notified fans that they would have their comeback on January 9th, 2024. The EP will be the band’s first new album in six months since its second EP, ‘Uncharted Drift.’ The last EP was released on June 26. Their 3rd mini album, ‘STUNNING,’ will have 5 songs, including ‘THE GAME’,’Ru-Pum Pum’ the title, ‘NOM’, ‘We Here’, and ‘GLOW.’ The title song and glow are participated by 8TURN members. Jaeyoon, Minho, Kyungmin, Yungyu, Seung Heon are those who participated.
The comeback time table and concept photos were released step by step. So track list of 8Turn was not much surprise until fans find out something. ‘ZEROBASEONE and 8TURN’ made people shocked. Two 5th generation boy groups, the rookies are participating together?
ZEROBASEONE in the track list?
So on the top right part, there is a word ‘ZEROBASEONE’ under ‘TWIT.’ It is actually obvious to catch after realizing its presence. ZEROBASEONE is actually not a word itself, and it is the name of an idol. ZEROBASEONE is a group composed of 9 finalists of Mnet audition program, ‘BOYS PLANET.’ So people are saying it won’t be just coincidence but written in intent. What would be the intent? Do ZEROBASEONE and 8TURN will have a collaboration? Did they have lines in the EP? However, if they were featuring it might be on the track list, but it is not on it. Fans are getting more confused.
Some are saying, if ZEROBASEONE and 8TURN really does collaboration, it would be Seok Matthew. Seok Matthew is the member, who was a trainee of MNH Entertainment, the agency of 8TURN. He is still under MNH entertainment, however as he became one of the 9 finalists, he is getting cared by WAKEONE as the team.
Nothing is revealed yet, but it is getting curious that two 5th generation rookies might have a collaboration. What would be the meaning of ZEROBASEONE on the track list?
