ZEROBASEONE wins 2 Oricon weekly charts
ZEROBASEONE has taken over the Oricon chart in Japan.
According to the rank chart released by Oricon in Japan on the 28th, ZEROBASEONE recorded 315,583 points with its first Japanese single, “ゆらゆら – 運命の – Unmei no Hana-,” and ranked the top of the Oricon weekly total single ranking on April 1 (counting period: March 18 to 24).
ZEROBASEONE also topped the previously released Oricon weekly singles ranking, recording the highest sales volume among debut albums by foreign artists ever. This earned ZEROBASEONE a double crown on the Oricon weekly chart by their debut single. ZEROBASEONE wins 2 Oricon Weekly charts.
They also topped Billboard’s Japanese charts. Their debut single topped Billboard’s top single sales chart on March 27 (counting period Mar. 18-24), with an estimated sales of 516,721 copies. In particular, ZB1 became a “half-million-seller” a week after its debut, making a new K-pop history in Japan.
Earlier, ZEROBASEONE held its first fan concert “2024 ZEROBASEONE FAN-CON IN JAPAN” in Yokohama, K-Arena, on the 23rd and 24th. They not only attracted about 53,000 viewers offline for two days, but also proved their powerful ticket power by live streaming online and broadcasting live at more than 20 CGV theaters in Korea.
ZB1 will also appear on prominent terrestrial TV programs thanks to local enthusiastic response. They will appear on TV Asahi’s special program “ZB1’s の目指せ No.1” on Thursday and on TBS music program “CDTV LIVE! LIVE!” on May 1.
