ZHANG HAO CHINA BAR made a decision
According to Zhang Hao China Bar, the group order hosted by the Zhang Hao’s individual bar would not be opened. The China Bar has opened 24-hours limited time poll on Weibo (China-based social media platform) about opening purchase link for ZEROBASEONE 3rd Mini album. 12,750 people participated in the voting.
The result was shocking. 11,365 people (89% of the total) voted not to open the purchase link, and 1374 people (11% of the total) agreed to open the purchase link. So by the result of the vote, the Bar has decided not to open the purchase link.
The fans and China Bar are not being supportive of the ZEROBASEONE due to the WAKEONE (the agency) profit-driven intentions. They picked Zhang Hao was not getting a support he should, and as group ZB1 was getting half-hearted promotions and the cancellation of Bubble as the reasons. So they would show their determination and the will for WAKEONE to change and support group better.
Is it a big problem?
Some might ask, “IS IT A BIG DEAL?” However, it is actually a big problem. Zhang Hao China Bar has been purchasing over 780,000 copies of physical albums. It is huge amount of physical copies. ZEROBASEONE total sales amount of 2 albums are about 4,000,000 copies. So the China Bar’s group purchase was around 20% of total purchase. ZEROBASEONE is the group that sells gigantic amount, but if it goes to other rookie groups there are many idols who could not sell 780,000 copies. The China Bar bought the amount equivalent to the total sales of rookie boy group.
If an album that was purchased as a group turns into an individual purchase, it is natural that sales will be decrease. Wonder what Wake One will do about the Bar’s decision. Would they make a change?
